I am a Michigan State Spartan and a College for Creative Studies Peacock. At MSU, I worked my rear off to become an engineer. Somehow, I escaped engineering school with a decent GPA. Thanks to Mr. Madden and my Spartan Marching Band family, I also escaped with my sanity (more-or-less intact). Being the glutton for punishment that I am, I decided that five years in university wasn’t enough, so I went back to school to study art, and graduated from the College for Creative Studies with a second bachelor’s degree in “Animation and Digital Media.”

I have a passion for all things related to creating Computer Graphics (CG), but my favorite activities are modeling, rigging, and animating. Although my professional focus has been on modeling military vehicles, animation is my first CG love and back in animation school, I had many days and weeks zoom by while completely absorbed in the creation of keyframes. Oh, to return to that level of engrossment…

Music is my parallel passion. I play guitar and saxophone. I love nearly all types of music, save for specific songs that are overly profane and/or violent in nature, or involve a lot of screaming. I especially like the blues, and most of my musical education is related to the study and playing of such. I have more of guitars than I have ability. Muscial instruments, and especially guitars, are works of art in-and-of themselves, and are capable of stimulating all five human senses. My favorite axe in my collection is my Arctic White American Standard Fender Stratocaster with a maple neck. She is just gorgeous.
